Bidra med feedbackLocated on the strip where all the restaurants are off of Malaga beach. Menu is specific to time of dinning. No dinner options available during lunch. We all enjoyed trying the various seafood dishes and the aioli sauce complimented them well. Chicken options such as strips and gizzards are available as well.
I 'm always one for bargains so I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon La Sureña with their BOGO tapas deals on Thursdays. You have to spend a minimum of 7€ but it was easy to do. I got an assortment of fried seafood Tinglao Andaluz, for 7,50€ and daughter who refused to eat any of it (I can only blame myself) got the chicken nuggets or lagrimas de pollo chicken tears. The latter was free being 7€. We split a bucket of Cubo Radler mini bottles for 4€ they are like panachés (mixture of lemonade and beer) with a 2.2% alcohol content. The seafood was fresh with calamari, sardines, dogfish, baby octopus and prawns. The chicken tears were tender and delicious. A plate of olives was 1€. Watching the sunset on the harbour eating a feast for 12,50€ was a treat!
Carrillera de pedro ximenes is a MUUUUUUST. It's a 5 chunk of beef that has been braised for (probably) hours topped w a sauce that is forgettable but what isn't forgettable is the beef. That beef is delicious and I regret not getting two of them. That you must get if u like beef. Calamar is a soft bite, good alternative (I just don't see Malaga in general ever serving bad calamar) Pinchos de solomillo is a 3 baguette bread slice topped w pork tenderloin and a shishito pepper it's good! Boquerones fritos are on the small sardine size spectrum but good! Huevos rotos the yolk is not runny....it's cooked to a medium so it's forgettable The chocos albondigas skip Radler is a lemon beer that must be imported to the us NOW Outside seating, order food and drinks inside and pick up inside
