Clean and cosy environment, like eating at home. Friendly and helpful staff. Food is delicious, especially the beef pho
I love Vietnamese food and came here to try out theirs. Ordered Veggie Rice Vermicelli, Vietnamese Coffee, Ambra Juice and a Tiramisu. Veggie Rice Vermicelli came with a peanut sauce to pour and mixed in. They are generous with the ingredients and the shredded vegetables are really fresh. The Vietnamese Black Coffee was really aromatic, taste great without sugar or milk. I believed they made their tiramisu themselves as its in a soup bowl. Their marcapone cheese layer is really firm and I like it alot. Overall I love all that I ordered here and will recommend people who love vietnamese food here.
Food was yummy. Just that it came out a bit slow. So.. One person would get an order.. Then 10 mins later the next one.. Then another 10 mins.. If you're not in a rush then OK.
This was a hidden gem. The storefront looks unassuming. The interior was clean and brightly lit. The baguette for their Bahn Mi is made in-house. The first bite reminded me of the scene of Remy in Ratatouille where Colette spoke about the lovely sound of bread's crust being broken. The topping was a good balance of acidity from the pickled vegetables, savouriness from the pate and the cold cuts, and crunchy texture from the cucumber. The beef pho was light but kicked its own punch, and it was perfect for me. Beansprouts and basil leaves were served at the side. The lemongrass baked rolls were a treat. The stalks of lemongrass used were really thick, and the smell and favour permeated through the meat. The crust formed was also a good level of caramelisation without being burnt. It was served with a pickled vegetables and chilli. The fresh spring rolls were good but tasted a tad light compared to the other heavy-handed dishes that we ate prior. Perhaps eating the spring rolls first would have been much better.
