The Strand Cafe - Makati

We tried having lunch here at Strand Cafe one afternoon.  Since it’s just few miles away from the office, we decided to give it a try.  Located inside One Pacific Place in Valero, this place is just like any other fine dining restaurants.   Serving a taste of Filipino and International Cuisine prepared by their Resident Chefs.  The place was cozy and upscale.

This place is unbelievable I am supposed to post something good. But unfortunately happens. It all started fine. I can't say its poor customer service... but probably a bad training for the crew. I ask for brewed coffee and Cappuccino for my other half unfortunately it will cost extra for her cappuccino. Not being chep or anything I passed. I said no I am okay after ten minutes we already have two coffee on our table. Waiter named ROMEO hand us a CAPPUCCINO! sabi ko.. baket meron niyan may coffee na kame. Romeo rebut and said sabi niyo okay tired from work and don't want to argue with his poor understanding. I said put it there ill pay for it Then one customer drop the serving fork of the pasta at the buffet area infront of the waiter. The waiter didn't bother to stop the incompetent customer to use that same fork to get a PASTA!!! BOOM that is so dirty!!! I don't recomend this place at all. The Egg station is really bad as well its like they are using used oil.

Had a cloby chicken sandwich, much too sweet, hardly a chicken at the end with and harmful effect on my likes! the personal has almost demanded that I fill in a comment feedback form before I finished my meal.

Political and friendly staff. unbelievable taste on all that we have ordered. love the Cordon ball with the kartoffel masque! amazing to taste a beautiful tasting kartoffel w/o every gravy!
