Bidra med feedbackA favorite midnight haunt for noidles and dimsum. For noodle soup, I always order their stewed curry beef with tendon and shitake mushrooms. It's nice that they serve it in a clay pot(?) which keeps the broth hot much longer. Their dimsums are just ok, could be better. I do like their bola-bola siopao which has sime Chinese sausage in it. This resto is way better that their sister resto, North Park.
When I need my fix of Chinese food, the quickest solution is North Park's Next Door restaurant. We love dim sum but hubby and I decided to go outside of the normcore of siomai and har gao. This tome we went for their Honey Lemon Chicken, Snow fish steamed and seasoned with Black Bean sauce. Of course we needed veggies. But minus points as they only had broccoli florets available. We had those sautéed in garlic. We also indulged in the Three Mushroom Noodle Soup. They use egg noodles instead of rice noodles. So much better! The broth is great too especially during those rainy days ;) This review was from our recent visit... I do hope they make the tea fresh instead of watering down... Minus 0.5... Room for improvement :)
It's small and well maintained eatry for noodle lovers. Family friendly with neat interiors and comfortable seating. Ice cold water and hot tea was served at first as compliments and was welcoming. Ordered a chicken curry with EUF noodles (that's what they call the noodle as) the serving was beautiful and good for two. The shrimp noodle soup was served boiling hot and was a treat to eyes later to taste buds. Though salt was on higher side, the chilly in oil came to rescue. We also liked the house special Apple ice team with freshly chopped Apple bits. The price was rightly priced and value for money. Overall had a relishing early dinner before our flight.
If its late and you want to eat Chinese, go to this place. Perfect for big groups of people because they have this dining + bar-ish type 2nd floor. Fried Sharksfin was solid but too expensive for the serving
Went for a quick midnight snack and I was satisfied with the Lechon Macau dish. Newly-fried, delectable, and with hefty serving! The pork siomai on the other hand was a bit dry. Nice airconditioning but the place needs a bit cleaning. Attentive staff. Reasonable price.
