Four Winds Brewing Co. - Makaoo (Part)

I biked from downtown Vancouver to get some parts close by and decided to stop into Four Winds for a much deserved beer.The staff, food and beer were all great.Enjoying a Greg West Coast IPA as I type this and look forward to returning soon.

Highly recommend the tacos: chicken, chickpeas, and fish!The GREG beer was great!

The best kept secret around. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Crazy good selection of refreshing things. And...food you so good you'll WANT to die (from a nut allergy)!!

I have been going to this place for more than a year, at least twice a month. So you think, why is she giving only two stars to a place that she is so often there? Yes, the food is great, the beer is even better, but I come from a country where customer service is the most important thing since good food and good beer you can find in the competitor. What develop the loyalty of a customer is the service you get. As I am always spending my pay check there, during all this time I have visited this place, a few times I purchased the beer and took my own food to eat there (no more than 3 times . It has never been a big deal. Actually, two weeks ago my co-worker, who is also there with me all the time, asked the cashier if she could get a sandwich in Quisnoz and just buy the beer, the cashier said that there was no problem. However, today I took my food there and I had to hear from a gentleman (maybe manager, I don 't know that works there in a rude way that I was in a restaurant and for the future I am not allowed to take my own food there. I understand his point of view, especially if I was a one time customer or if I was always doing that, but that is far from the case, as I am so often there, that the girls already know how I like my burger(before I even say anything, they say: no veggies, right? . I felt really bad with the way I was treated and for sure that was definitely my last visit. I hope that in the future this business start to value and appreciate better the loyal customers because they are the ones who do the word of mouth and bring more customers to them.
