Brick Spoon Orlando - Maitland

Wanted to try a spot for brunch but they were only doing take out only. I ordered the shrimp and grits which were so delicious and recommended by the staff there. Also ordered the breakfast fries which were good but could not enjoy them because I was too busy eating the grits lol. Would return to experience the full effect of the restaurant as well as cocktails

I would have recommended this restaurant, but unfortunately our experience on a Sunday was not great. Despite being seated with a group of six, five other tables who were seated after us received their food and drinks before we did. One member of our group had to leave due to work, which was disappointing. It seemed like they added gratuity for a larger group than ours. I may try another location or visit at a different time in the future. The food was okay, but I've had better. The long wait and being repeatedly skipped for smaller tables was frustrating and unfair.

My husband and I came to this restaurant with friends for brunch before we hit the road. The place came highly recommended, so I was excited to try it out, especially since it is a black-owned establishment. Our group was a bit large, but the restaurant did a great job accommodating us quickly. Once seated, our waiter was attentive and made us feel comfortable. Unfortunately, the two entrees I initially wanted were out of stock, which was disappointing. I ended up ordering the killer creole omelet, which was pretty tasty. Our group enjoyed our meals, so you know it was good! I will definitely be back when I visit Orlando, hopefully next time all the items are in stock.

I swear I didn?t even know about this place and I pass by here all the time. So my bad. Came for a late lunch with a friend who introduced me to this amazing place. We came here on a weekday so it wasn?t that busy, I was told that this place gets packed. So I guess we?re lucky. The ambiance is really nice. Staff that assisted us was amazing as well. The food is definitely top notched. I love every single dish that we ordered. You taste good quality here. You know they cook their food with quality in mind. I have to come back and try their other dishes. I had their Shrimp Tasso Mac and Cheese and man it was soooooooo good. My friend even got a customized good due to her dietary restrictions. Definitely come and see this place for yourself. We?re coming back again

They close early cause they have to time for games lol the food taste better than any conventional breakfast/lunch Orlando has to offer!! Friendly staff, cool inviting atmosphere!! Been here a handful of times and it seriously keeps getting better and better! Regardless of where you in live in Central Florida they?ll make this experience one to remember! Their number one, must try item is there stuffed foster French Toast Sliders!! Guarantee you won?t find anything like it! Our waitress got excited as we ordered it!! Second runner up is the Bayou Deviled Eggs, I always say deviled eggs should be served warm, the crunchy shrimp topping is major flavor points!! Take it from me, get ready to enjoy!! Trust me when I say, this is my FIRSTCHOICE for breakfast!!
