Ristorante Taormina - Mainz

This restaurant was very practical where we stayed and was open on a Monday evening. that was okay. the lambs were a little hard, and the vegetables were ordinationally warmed. we had better food for the price, but. we were happy that it was there and opened on Monday at 3 pm.

I had wine glasses with salat, steak with mushroom sauce and pommes. excellent dinner and very affordable. I enjoyed my meal there. service was also perfect.

In the restaurant was only a table occupied. it rusty and undefined unappetiable and the waiter was very unfriendly with attached smiles. it was very warm and all the curtains were closed, so you could not look at the unsightly environment. what would have been better can only be decided by everyone. the bier lids announce proudly: "30 years taormina!" from this time comes also the device of the local and self-conception of the prices. the card was very large, a recommendation was not given.The eating was lukewarm, apparently directly from the microwave, as it was brought to the table shortly after the order. penne with scampi and spinat. the shrimps were tiny and transparent, the noodles were light green. I guess that should be the promised spinach. or the noodle was bad. the second dish was immersed in a kind of cocktail sauce. sweetly cut shape pieces in discounter quality accompanied the tasteless sauce. was seasoned only with sugar. They could suck in both of them. is "old" the Italian name for dentist? about 5 minutes after eating, still grated hard cheese was served - in taste undefined and by no means an enrichment, yet the best ingredient. this food would even be spoiled on a childbirth day. absolutely no recommendation. if this restaurant would close, it would probably be the waiter right.

I was eating there on a Saturday night with my friend. as an appetizer, we had a pizza bread that was too dry and unspoiled. as a main dish I had meatballs with bratkartoffeln. for the price of 15 € I had expected more than 4 slices of bratkartoffeln and two mini meat rolls filled with spinat. my friend had 5 tinted fish rings also with 4 slices of bratkartoffel and also for 15 €. just a sweat. Moreover, the service was bad, the serviettes were taken along after the appetizer and no new ones brought.I just found it bad and was animal disappointed.
