Restaurant Zum Lowen - Mainz

This is a great place to eat, drink or just to hang out. I have tried almost everything on the menu already (there is no written menu, just the blackboards on the wall) and liked it. They do special catered events as well. They have a solid menu (salads, burger, steak, schnitzel, Flammkuchen and other typically German/Mainz dishes and a variety of Teigfladen which is similar to a wrap. There are several wines they serve, partly from nearby wineries and all of them in a good quality.

The owner hasn't changed too long and now it's an honest pub again. Eating is cheap, but not a culinary highlight, better they can come here to drink and celebrate.

The lion is located in the immediate vicinity of the gonsenheimer rathaus, not to miss as provided with a clearly visible sign from the outside. I would personally put this restaurant to those who want to enjoy an extravagant, excellent rumpsteak. friends this type of meat will certainly never be disappointed on the lions and never be disappointed. but also other tasty gourmets will come to their cost here. the current offers are displayed on the map and offered to moderate rides. However, this is measured with respect to the high quality which it obtains, a price-performance ratio which goes into order remains. is served quickly and very friendly in a very nicely furnished place with very clean sanitary facilities, as well as a suitable ambiente. for my taste, the light is somewhat too much isolated so that I feel a bit too dark there, but this is certainly a question that is visible. Four stars are mine!

Rustic pub with hand-resistant eating. I had a board and an additional part pommes with majo. In addition, there were various carvings with pommes and flaky variations in neat large part to sattessen. different wee from rheingau. friendly service. one of the pictures shows the deck.

I wanted to try it out, the Cheserösti, from which a friend of mine had told me a little bit. Instead, I chose a great plank soup to Alsace art and then was filled. to this suppe I enjoyed a scoral and afterwards an espresso. both had a good time.
