California Bakery is one of the new open chain premises in the central via Torino. The location is treated in detail. It is a place to stop for a coffee with a muffin with chocolate drops, for lunch, for a dessert or a cocktail. There are various types of cakes from Cheese Cake, Double Chocolate Cake, Red Velvet, Carrot Cake. At lunch you can order excellent sandwiches with chicken breast and grilled vegetables or salads. There are also vegan proposals with hummus of chickpeas. Everything is very good and with quality products, although the last time I went the slice of Red Velvet cake was a little dry. On Sundays you can make a rich brunch, spending 25 euros, with coffee, orange juice, toast with salmon and avocado and eggs in shirt. The staff is always very helpful and kind.

We asked to stay on the upper floor but we were answered that it was not possible because there were no covers, then when we went up to use the bathroom we saw a girl behind the counter and that all the tables had the seats and were empty. I ordered an avocado toast and it was tasteless, from the menu it was written that it had to be served with bacon but it was absent, paid also so much for what it is.In addition during the work turn the girl uses the mobile phone and brought us a slice of cake other than what we ordered, besides told us that we were wrong to ask. Not to mention the fact that for the arrival of the dishes and the cake we waited a long time (there were only two tables occupied). The place is pretty, clean, welcoming and aesthetic. Coffee was not the best by the cheesecake is to die for! Prices are okay for a coffee shop in the downtown area of Milan. Once you're there, check out the ceiling.
