Kobu Asian Bistro - Mahopac

I really enjoyed the udon tofu dish. Very large portion.

Can not believe this is still open. Horrible.2 couples $120 food was not edible.We sat at a table not Hibachi. Ordered Sushi ,soups, shrimp and Lobster othero all terrible.Server didn’t even notice.

Horrible, the food was not edible. Three out of the four people at our table DID NOT touch their meal and no one cared. Furthermore, the ambiance was dungeon like.

Kobu falls far short of it's promise. As a local who has a love of sushi I was psyched to have such a high quality restaurant being built in town.At first the service was Ok, then it improved, and then it hit bottom. Very uneven and inconsistent. We stopped going when they brought my dish and completely forgot my wife's dinner.We go far afield to another place out of town which is worth the trip.This is a place your bets and takes your chances kind of thing.Oh and . Expect higher prices.Sigh! It sure looks great ....

Food was Okay, but the service was....especially when they have a sign at the entry saying 18% Tip is a must.I would look elsewhere for Hibachi Restaurant.
