La Tagliatella Avenida De America

Arrived mid evening in Madrid for work with a colleague. We needed dinner and didn’t know anywhere nearby. Nothing immediate that catered for a vegetarian. A quick Google search for nearby Italian (usually a reasonable options for vegetarians) found here, about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The food was great, I had a massive truffle and funghi pizza of incredible thinness. My colleague had a great meaty pizza and was equally happy. Staff were lovely felt more like a family restaurant. Decor is quirky and it got very busy after we arrived. Service was well paced but we weren’t made to feel we were being rushed despite how busy it was. I’ll be back for work quite often so this was a useful find.

We had 3 different dishes: spaghetti with olive oil and shrimp, beef raviolis with mushroom sauce and pizza. The pizza was OK but the 2 pasta dishes were amazing. All the 3 dishes were so big that we had 3 boxes of left over, enough for lunch tomorrow. The decor was very nice and cozy and the service was quick and efficient. They also deliver so it's nice to know.

The restaurant is located in the basement, nice surroundings.We got pizza which was excellent. Good service!

Fuimos a las 20h sin reserva y nos atendieron mejor que bien. La comida estaba buena pero la pizza me decepcionó un poco, en concreto la masa. He recorrido muchas ciudades y pueblos de Italia y dista bastante de mi experiencia. Era extremadamente delgada y escasa. Más cerca de una galleta crocante que de una masa fina. Me hubiera gustado un pelin más de contundencia ya que me quedé con hambre. El pan de la casa, los tortellini rellenos de carne asada y la lasaña muy buenos.

Comida muy buena y muy buen servicio. Lucero encantadora. Gracias!
