Bidra med feedbackWe passed by this place and did not expect much ..... but it was a great surprise !!! Ambiance: place is off the path of the very busy tourist area but close enough from the Aloft Madrid Gran Via. iInformal but cozy as the back of the restaurant feels much more private. Service: great informal service with our waiter Stanley making all great suggestions for the tapas we ordered. Food: the Fried eggs with garlic shrimp and sliced pan fried potatoes were to die for. The Jamon Ibérico croquetas mas were also excellent. The Endives with Tuna and Olives were light and tasty. We were again recommended the cheese cake for desert and it was excellent. We did not try the other dishes but heard that the Entrecote Sirloin with French Fries and Peppers are excellent. We have to trust that as all we were recommended were excellent.
We were really disappointed. The portions were really small and way overpriced, the croquettes came almost cold and the ensalada with mozzarella and tomatos for 6€ were literally three slices of tomato. Even though the food itself was fine it was way overpriced for the quality that it was so I wouldn’t recommend unfortunately.
Evev though the place was crowded, the service was good and we liked the food served. the atmosphere was nice and sitting on the bar chairs got us a good deal
Lugar fantástico, comida exquisita y espectacular atención. 100% recomendado y sin duda repetir!
