Doolittles Woodfire Grill - Madison

The atmosphere is very cold and family oriented. The manager and the staff have the best experience. The food is amazing. When I left, I dined with a big group. Food was fast and I really think this is a restaurant where you can literally order everything and it will be good. You have to taste this restaurant... A few times.

Delicious!!! Get your bub and dig some meat. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. I started with a few tastings of her beer selection and ordered the Walleye Fishfinger and BBQ Chicken. The fish fingers were perfectly fried with a crispy crust. Fantastic!!! The BBQ chicken was beautiful and moist with a touch of spicy BBQ sauce. Fingers lick well. I undermined amazing Broccolini for the Veggie. Ready with the melted chocolate cake. It had a nice crust and was a little dry. The vanilla ice cream helped, but no winner. Come for a beer stay for the MEAT!!! Another day... I just wanted a salad before I got home on the plane. The Cobb is beautiful and fresh with her shredded chicken. A pretty filling.

Diane had served the pan horseradish sea scallops in a mustard sauce with a unique blend of roasted potatoes mixed with tomatoes, bacon, olive oil and something else I cannot remember. The scallops had a beautiful lake and we are perfectly cooked. The mustard sauce was unusual, but made a surprising and delightful match of aromas. The potato mixture also came together in a pleasant combination. I had ribs and her famous wood fired chicken combs. Both were tender and had the good wooden aromas I love, but we are not overlaid. We tried the wallet fingers for and appetizer. In parmesan cheese, they were crunchy with a very good balance of aromas. They also served a rosemary sourdough bread for a starter we could eat tons. Overall we enjoyed and would definitely return. Very recommended!

What a great place. Nice little wine selection and they even have flights. Atmosephere was a step up then most places. Airplane decor was nice. Order a crusted walleye. It was great! Side salad and rosemary bread to starte. I will come back here. Oh ya. Way to go staff. 5 people waited on me. Nice work!

Doolittle's. This place provides elegance, comfort, and most importantly, gracious hospitality. The staff is compiled of sweet, lovely humans they know what they love about this establishment. The red oak woodfire, the atmosphere, the fabulous consumables, and the human interaction. I will come back as many times as I can in my lifetime. 10/5.
