Common Pasta - Madison

I want to love this place but their hot pasta dishes are always a little too sweet! Both the mac and ragù have sweet flavors that I don't enjoy and don't understand. I wish they would spice it up and offer different rotating menu items once in a while so I could get something else here and there. The guys in the truck are always nice and I want to support them more.

Poor service. Our waitress spent more time talking to her friends at the table next to us than serving anyone. Seriously. The food was okay. We asked to sit outside because it was a beautiful evening. Little did we know we were on the bus line. It was very loud. Overall, very disappointing. Don’t recommend.

Had a reservation and waited for 15 minutes. Sat down, staff took our order (party of 3) with side salad and appetizer. Drinks took a good 15 minutes. Our meal came out not even warm, without having been served our appetizer and salads ahead of time. 20 minutes after meal was served then staffed served our salad. Manager asked how things were, stated would rather not say. Manager proceeded to call us rude and make parting shots as she walked away. complete waste of time, save yourselves the hassle and don't go.

Our group of 31 contacted Tutto Pasta on Monday to see if they could accommodate a group of our size, they graciously did and provided us with a menu of selections for our large group, we sent them our order in advance and we were all very pleased. First and foremost, our group of adults and teens are tight knit and enjoy being able to still socialize and not be sat apart from each other when we are in our large group. Tutto Pasta placed us in the upstairs where we had a quiet lunch and enjoyed fellowshipping with each other. Our server waited on 31 people by himself, which was a huge accomplishment, as he walked 3 large salads, beverages, bread, and 31 meals, as well as several appetizers up the stairs for us. We were pleased with the food, pleased with the service, and pleased that they willingly accommodated our large group! Bravo, Tutto Pasta!
