Come Back In - Madison

They say never say never, who knows, my second experience may be better. My experience: Young lady seated me at a table on the deck. (my request) sat there for awhile then eventually got up went and asked for a glass of water, didn't like the look of the WEELLL used acrylic looking glass which I got changed and asked for a straw. She brought me an unwrapped stirrer in her Bare Hands that had been touching every surface then told me she was not my server and one will be coming shortly. ???? Now I'm really curious to see how worst the service can be. Coffee was brought rim was still marked with Coffee stain, no cream or sugar, none on the table either. Ordered the crabcake and spinach Benedict. Meal was such a disappointment I couldn't finish it. The yoke was practically raw despite me asking not to make it runny. Hmm...???? they can't spoil a drink can they?

The food was good. But where we sat was in a booth and right behind the booth was where the waitress would put dirty dishes. So all we heard was the crashing of the dishes we were not able to enjoy our meal. I am not sure if I will go back to this place. I would never want to hear the crashing of plates while eating and trying to hear what my friend was saying while I was visiting with my friend. Why do they throw the dishes in instead of placing them nicely since the customer is sitting right there.

I haven't been here in years but it's exactly the same and that's a good thing. Service was excellent and the food was delicious, just like I remembered. Saw some live music during my visit too.

I'm giving it 5 stars because of the breakfast. We had French toast and biscuits and gravy. Clearly made from scratch. It was killer. A Must do for breakfast in Madison. Especially with a **** mary!

I can be picky, some might say a little demanding. Our seating preferences and TV requests were taken care of before we even had to ask our server. Emma offered to switch the TVs without us having to say anything. She handled my specific order perfectly. The food was exceptional, a perfect 10 out of 10, and the service exceeded expectations with an 11 out of 10 rating. The prices were also very reasonable.
