Cohen's Bagel Company - Madison

My wife and I enjoy the bagel sandwiches at Cohen's Bagels and the staff is friendly and courteous. The bagel sandwiches come with the sandwich, bagel chips and a pickle. However, sometimes the items that are supposed to come with the sandwiches or theusual kinds of bagels are not available. Most recently, I went for bagel sandwiches at about noon on a weekday and upon openingthe boxes containing the sandwiches noticed that there were no bagel chips. When asked, the employee said that they were makingthe bagel chips and none will be available for awhile. Neither the person taking my order nor the person giving me my ordermentioned that bagel chips were not available. As mentioned, I only found out upon opening the box. I would have expectedthat this would be mentioned as it is included in the price. This should not happen in a business that makes bagels and onlyneeds to make chips from the bagels, especially at noon. The staff messed up on this one. I have also had instances where veryfew kinds of bagels were available (this would usually be late morning) or the pickle was not included (and told that they ranout only after asking). The pickles are less important, but the staff should know if they are running out of pickles and can goto the store to buy more if needed. This can't be a supply chain issue anymore. Again, other than the items that are missingfrom the sandwich packages from time to time or the unavailability of certain usual kinds of bagels, my wife and I am happywith the sandwiches themselves. I emphasized the bagel chips as my wife and I enjoy them at part of our meal and, without thechips, the meal was disappointing.

Solid bagel place, good coffee. Good sandwiches lots of different types of bagels and cream cheeses. One great addition as a bagel place they need to pick up is Taylor ham (pork roll), for pork roll egg and cheese sandwiches. If you know , you know. I?d bet it would be a top seller!

Used to be great!!! But over the past couple months the service/ timeliness has gone way down. For an online order is says 0-5 minutes. 30 minutes later your order is finally ready. But you don?t receive a text for another 2-3 hours. So if you don?t go inright away and stand there and wait your order you may never know when its ready. Please fix your issues

I stopped for a bagel before my crew and I began an outdoor job next door. The bagel was the BEST I ever had!! But that is not the most impressive part. We were working in 96 degree heat and their staff brought us ice water, not once but twice! Itseems rare, nowadays, that people notice let alone take the time to do something. The staff here is amazing, kind and friendly. As a business owner, that speaks to their culture. I will gladly support a local business like Cohens. Thankyou!! Matt Signarama- Vernon, CT

The nicest staff ever. They really do care! Not exaggerating at all. The bagel itself was amazing. Very much like a New York bagel! I had onion. Breakfast places in CT rarely carry that flavor, and if they do, it's bad. This was a fantastic onion bagel.
