Bidra med feedbackWe tried bunky’s cafe on a week before this week. it feels like you're entering someone at home when you go in and during eating, I felt a bit similar. You can't see the kitchen, but you can hear and smell what's going on. the decor is quirky with a lot of knickknacks to entertain their eyes. our server was friendly, efficient and friendly. the beverage menu is not particularly interesting, but it has many local brews and wee. nothing on the menu made me particularly appealed, but I was very happy with everything we ordered. we started with the Mediterranean veggie combo. the hummus was creamy and luscious, the tabbouleh slightly herbic and fresh. it came with...more
What a charming, vintage-like, eclectic decoration! the staff is super friendly and helpful. our Mediterranean restaurants selection here in madison are few so I have very glad to have bunky as option. I ordered the chicken kebab plate, which was wonderful, and the lens soup. the taste of the lens soup was very good, although a little salty. Apart from that, great experience here, and I look forward to a visit again.
A rettungsring and a delicious restaurant. bunky’s caffe has saved me a valentinstag. I wanted to dare and try a questionable restaurant for Valentine's Day. I will not say where, but the place I tried did not go out, so we just started driving and found bunker and hoped we could get a place, last in the house. the meal was one of the best I had insane. big lamb and my friend (we are still together, thanks to bunkys) had a vegan meal I did not remember, I just remember that she loved it. everything was great, eating, personal, atmosphere amazing. was not back, but yesterday passed and brought this memory back. we will try to be back soon
Hurray for a great gluten-free friendly restaurant!. I have never been to a restaurant that is more gluten-free friendly than Bunky's! I asked for a gluten-free menu, but they told me that their WHOLE menu is gluten-free. This is amazing, especially for an Italian restaurant! Bunky's was an unprecedented surprise! I enjoyed wonderful pasta and Green's gluten-free ale. Our waitress was really wonderful, as well. She was very friendly and attentive without ever being overbearing. I was also impressed by the very reasonable prices. I'll definitely be going back!
Great food, great restaurant. This was our first time to the restaurant. They were prompt with our reservation for 6:30 on a busy Friday night to start the evening. The waiter was courteous, friendly, and efficient without being intrusive. We had a group of 5 and some of us had the more traditional Italian dinners while others had the middle eastern fare. It was all very good, portions were large, and the wine that we had with the dinner made the perfect compliment. For 5 people, 5 entrees, 1 appetiser the veggie mediterranean sampler), 3 desserts 2 cannoli's thrown in for 2 people celebrating a birthday), and a bottle of wine, the total was $140 tip. The homey and warm atmosphere...read more
