Terrible service. We got there at 7:32, and it says it closes at 8, and we were going to place a to-go order. The rude lady who is supposed to “welcome” you instead loudly exclaims how we came in “15 minutes before closing.” If that’s the case, then reflect that the store closes at 7:45 pm. Then she proceeds to be condescending, which is hilarious since she’s merely a worker and not an owner.We left and thankfully we were able to stop 2 other people who were headed inside for boba. We directed them to another boba place close by, so the lady’s disgusting attitude cost this establishment 4 customers in less than a few minutes. Excellent business strategy! I’m sure the owners of this establishment will be so pleased to know the people they pay to run their store are actively repelling clientele! I remember when this place used to be in Fresno by Ashlan and 99, and I’ve been looking forward to finally stopping by this new location, but I will no longer be returning and will be sure to let others know how terrible the service is.

Great sushi in a casual atmosphere. Food is consistently yummy, and service is fast and friendly. One of my favorite spots in Madera.
