Rita's Italian Water Ice - Macungie

I arrived at Rita's in t Macungie at 130 The signs that open not from the window multiple times. No action so I left. I called them 10 minutes later and asked if they were busy. They said yes so I riped 5 minutes. No customers in line. I then asked manager why they didn't answer. They said they were busy in the back. 3 people got no service.

Why, when the girls are weighing out what appear to be pints, do they skim off the top and discard into a waste bucket if it’s a little over?? Why not leave it for the customer as opposed to throwing it out?

Not customer friendly.Not sure how they earned a 4.5 eval.

The staff has the recipe for incredible ice, custard, customer service! You won't want to miss a single day of Rita's Italian Ice all the flavors variety they have to choose from!

I really appreciate that this restaurant offers their own special deals! On Mondays, you can get 2 gelatos for $5 or 2 big gelatos for $6. And on Wednesdays, all sizes of Italian ice are half off. The staff members are polite and provide great service.
