Bidra med feedbackUp for a weekend and had the Cherry Wheat brewed in house at the Dixie. Was fabulous. Also , the Rum Runner. A few cocktails before a day on the island . O?Reilly?s has same restaurant as the Dixie an amazing selection on beers and seltzers . Trieda Long drink Stephanie suggested made with gin and it was pretty good! Definitely the chill side of the Dixie. But Matt andSteph were very attentive and we will be back for dinner after our stay at the Mission Point on the island ! Thanks for makingus feel at home !
It's connected to Dixie Saloon. You actually get their menu too so if you want a less of a bar scene go there instead. When we went to O'Reilly's, it was empty at lunch time. Had about 10 booths so we took one. Bartender was our server and they didgreat. Dixie Saloon's food was good. Was hoping for more Irish food, which is the reason for the 3 stars. Didn't go there todrink.
Oh my gosh! I'm absolutely in love with their Mac and Cheese! It's topped with pulled pork and crispy fried onions, and it's simply delicious. My husband ordered a breakfast plate and was really happy with it too. The bar was stunning, and I really liked the booth seating. We received excellent service, and our waitress made sure we had everything we needed. The drinks were fantastic as well. We will definitely be coming back!
I dropped by this place for a nightcap after arriving in town late. The bartender informed me that it’s the only bar in the city open after 10 PM. While they don’t offer flights, they do allow you to sample a beer before ordering a full pour. The prices for a pint are great, especially for a tourist area. The bartender was friendly, too. Just a heads up: parking is limited. I’m giving it 5 stars for being open after 10 PM, and I would definitely come back!
The best cod fish and chips I have ever had! There were five generous pieces coated in the lightest batter, perfectly deep-fried. The portion of chips/fries was substantial and delicious as well. I would return just for these! My husband's Cobb salad was also large and tasty. Yum-yum-yum!
