The Bavarian Mackay

We have been numerous times, a comment is that there is a glitch in the ordering of drinks sizes as I never get the correct size. I have learnt to be aware and request a correction, the staff are always pleased to assist. Also we love the Bao buns and they have not been on the menu for the last few weeks : , we will have to check next time before we go as they are one of the dishes we really enjoy. Last nights Ribs, Burger and Schnitzel were all really tasty as always, just not the same without the Bao Buns.

We arrived at the restaurant at 12:10pm and ordered quite quick and didn’t get our main meal until 1pm. I wish there were comfortable chairs their instead of sitting on wooden benches. Food was ok and staff was very good but getting charged 20% surcharge for using my eftpos is ridiculous!

Greeted at the door by the manager who took us to our table. Super friendly and helpful, she took us through how to use the app to order and did our first order for us. Food was superb and came out really quickly. Really good atmosphere and got to pick our own music which was cool. $20 cocktail jugs were delicious and great value for money.

Waitress was lovely. Service was fast and the food was good.

Super friendly and attentive staff. Best pork belly I have ever tasted. Been to this place a few times now and never had a bad experience. Food was very quick to come out. Best place to grab a feed and a beer in Mackay. Delicious cocktails also.
