Alberto - MACERATA

On our way to Ascoli Piceno, we stopped in the town of Macerata and had a coffee and a ham and cheese panini at Bar Alberto. This Bar is located opposite a school and it was time for the children to go home when we arrived, so there were crowds of children and a number of school buses to negotiate while going through the town. We were lucky to find a parking in the street directly outside the cafe. The Bar is mainly frequented by locals and they serve a daily special written up on the board. The meal servings were very generous.
