La Piazza Cafe/Restaurant - Macarthur

Went to la piazza for dinner last night had a great meal and so did the rest of the group I was with. Thanks again chefs for a great meal

Food was ordinary however the young staff were polite and efficient

Fresh new restaurant. La Piazza has just moved into new premises which look lovely. We went there for Mothers Day breakfast and although my Eggs Benedict were not quite cooked to my liking (eggs weren't thoroughly cooked and hollandaise sauce was very thin and watery) everyone else at the table loved there food. We have eaten dinner here many times before, their pizzas and pastas are delicious. Well worth a visit.

Mitte 2015. the flat white was nothing special, and the two hotcakes with caramelized banana, maple syrup and cinnamon mascarpone $15) were round and thick. my companion liked how there was enough bananes so that you could have a couple with each bite of hotcake. I liked how the hotcakes were so light and fluffy, but where was the mascarpone? the mascarpone was melted. melted, cinnamon mascarpone is just a granular chaos. I would have preferred it "on the side" or even on the top of the bananas instead of spreading it on the hot cake. the caramelized banans were not browned at all. Excellent food and excellent service. enjoyed our evening. the staff was some of the most friendly in canberra and eating was super...fresh ingredients and very fast. I think there are new management that seems to make this restaurant humble. 25 jul, 2014 excellent food. excellent staff. booked at the latest, we changed every order and even asked for extra chili! the staff was excellent and the food was great. the gamberi pasta was great.
