Le Vitis - Lyon

Ordered a ‘pot’ of wine from the menu for euros 8. Wine was fine and came with some nibbles. Went to pay the bill 12 euros. Er, it should be 8. “Sorry the menu is wrong”. “We gave you the wrong size.” Lots of excuses all rubbish. “We fleece tourists” would be more accurate. Never in my life have I been to a bar or restaurant where as a customer I have been charged for mistake like this. This place is an absolute disgrace. Stay away. Plenty of other bars in the area.

First time in Lyon with my friend and my daughter. What a fantastic start. A lovely little wine bar. Friendly staff who spoke good English and friendly customers. Enjoyed a few hours relaxing, whilst eating, drinking and chatting, what the French do best!!

After reading the commendable comments of the site, we spent a very pleasant week without reservation. glass with wine from 4 euros with quality charcuterie/cheese board and desserts gourmet houses. Welcome, we had a good night.

Wine bar on the boulevard of the red cross, very pleasant! a typical decor, quality products and a welcome from the whole team! prices are very correct for a good evening with friends I highly recommend! Thank you to them for tonight we will come back next year

Wine bar located in red cross with a very warm atmosphere. owners are helpful and close to their customers, very good advice and passionate. the wine menu is of quality, for varied tastes. possibility to eat on site at very reasonable prices given the quantity and quality of the products served.
