Situé en marge des hôtels de la Porte de Lyon, il s affiche comme un restaurant sans chichi ni prétention Mais dans sa catégorie, il tient la comparaison : salle spacieuse, cadre sympa, accueil chaleureux, cuisine "simple" offrant un très bon rapport qualité prix Petit bemol: la francesinha pourrait être un peu plus relevée Bref...à découvrir
After a long walk upwards we finally arrived at this Portuguese restaurant but it was worth it! Personnel was friendly and despite the air-conditioning it was quite warm inside. The pastries we ordered as a starter (rissois and pasteis de bacalhau which basically is dough filled with meat or fish) were not so good, I’ve had way better than these ones in the past. However, the main dish I had (the house steak) tasted very good and the portion was quite big. Also my dessert, a chocolate mousse, tasted excellent. We’ve paid €30 per person which for the size and the quality we’ve got is a very good price. I would definitely go back here if I could. A bus stops nearby and there is enough parking in the neighborhood.
Service was great and the food was AMAZINGAfter a long day shopping the mac and cheese as an appetizer was exactly what we needed to wake up.
