Cafe India Eastern Indian Cuisine

I'm just here twice over several years. I enjoyed eating during each of these experiences. tasty naan brot. I would recommend a person to try this restaurant.

I really enjoyed the Ras Missy Agoo. A great place for vegetarian food and for a variety of Indian and South Asian cuisines. Very friendly staff and a comfortable dining environment.

Food was ok, service? Might as well expect nothing close to service. Didn't even get a greeting, waitress was rude, some people just don't want to make tips. Very disappointed, wouldn't recommend it.

The first time we ate here it was good but a bit too spicy. We decided to come again and the vegetarian options were good, but my mom ordered a curry that was supposed to have shrimp, lobster, and scallops but instead got a whole bowl of baby octopus. Like with the head and eyeballs and everything. The worst part was the curry made it hard to see, so we didn't realize until we ate some of it. There is no octopus on their menu yet it was in our food. The cook also tried to refuse to refund it because we ate some of it. They weren't apologetic at all and were snotty and sarcastic. Some of us even got very sick afterward and threw up. I understand some people eat octopus, but we did not order it and personally would not eat it.Both of their bathrooms were also plugged and OVERFLOWING on the floor. Their sewer line was obviously plugged and no seemed to care. And they had a broken, jagged chair that snagged my mom's shirt and ripped it. Awful place. Will never return! It's dirty with flies, and they are frauds who hide things in your food that you didn't order. Who knows what other surprises we missed!

Out of all the Indian restaurants in Washington this one is my favorite! And I’ve tried almost all of them. The food here is amazing. The chicken tikka Marsala, Palak, and garlic nan are a must try. The food is super flavorful. They have a lot more variety then most Indian restaurants around. And the people that own this place are super sweet people. The restaurant is a little run down, but I’m not here for the “looks”, I’m here for the food.
