Bidra med feedbackWhole Foods Lynnfield just makes COVID-19 even worse. I went in to buy a couple things and return an item I bought less than a week ago. I come to find this one single sign by the customer service desk saying that now Whole Foods has changed their policy and you can no longer return anything unless there is a quality issue. So All Sales are Final now. I've been in this Whole Foods location 3-4 times in the last two weeks and never saw a single sign dictating this at a register nor has any store employee tried to make me aware of this at the checkout process. This is clearly just a way for Jeff Bezos to make even more billions off of the Corona Virus. I checked out with my couple things and yet again, didn't save one penny by using my Prime account. I can't remember the last time I actually saved a dollar by using Prime at Whole Foods. I called and spoke to the manager and he didn't have a resolution for me. I said the item hasn't been opened, it can be wiped down and disinfected or thrown away if they really wanted to throw it away. Simple fact is I paid for an item I can't use and had proof of purchase and they are failing to truly inform people of their drastic change in policy. He claimed all other stores such as target and Trader Joe's and Walmart are doing the same thing ...not true because I just returned stuff to target last week. Classic snotty Whole Foods/Amazon/Bezos at its finest.
Just went to Lynnfield Whole Foods during Senior Hour which is one hour before store opens. Stood in line and showed my over 60 ID so that I could expose myself to all the Amazon Online Shoppers who were already in there, everywhere in the store, their carts parked in all the aisles while they push you out of the way so they can make more money. The Amazon Shoppers are there all day every day and then out with the public making deliveries. We had to sit in our car and wait until exactly one hour before opening while these Amazon Shoppers, mostly young people obviously not staying home were allowed to go in even earlier and fill up the store. They come out with a dozen bags of groceries in multiple carts and use their personal vehicles to deliver them. I stayed in my house all week to be around people who have obviously been out with the public all week. I am sick to my stomach that I even went there but I needed groceries. I thought this was supposed to be so us older seniors with compromised immune systems (I have both) could be isolated from high risk people who are not staying home? I would have shopped online but the delivery times are out two weeks. There are 23 hours in a day this one should be only for those of us at high risk for Covid 19. Do not advertise this hour of early shopping as caring about us seniors if you are going to risk my health. Shame on Whole Foods.
Tom the pizza guy make the best pizza. Love his pizza. I been to every whole food and tried every pizza but this place and Tom makes it so good I only come to this location.
I got the idea of using Whole Food as my wedding florist from a friend and I am SO glad that I did. The quality is just as good as other florists but at a fraction of the cost. I worked with Mioko at the Lynnfield Whole Foods. I had a general idea of what I wanted my bouquet to look like, and with that freedom she ended up creating bouquets that were beautiful. She was responsive and very easy to work with. The flowers were organized and packed well to be picked up on the day of (delivery wasn't an option). The only drawback is you have to pay in person (not even with a credit card over the phone), so you have to make a trip there just to pay.
This store has taken a nosedive in the past 6 months or so. It's completely filled with amazon employees now, which makes it significantly harder to get around without being pushed or shoved and also had caused everything to constantly be out of stock. In the past month I have stopped by this store 4 times looking for a certain food item; they have been out every single time. They don't even seem to care about restocking items in the frozen food aisle anymore, and actual customer service comes second while amazon employees are made the priority. Will be going to the Melrose location to do my shopping from here on out.
