Syros Greek Italian - Lynden

We've been looking for a good Greek dinner since Mykonis closed, wow, this is it!!! They exceeded our expectations

If I had a word to describe this place it would be as follows. Syros is the greatest mix of Italian and Greek I've had close to the Canadian border. We used to go to Mykonos over near the Bellingham Airport before they ceased operation, and we were looking for a new Greek eatery ever since in the area. We found Syros a few months later, and I highly recommend this place for dinner and lunch.

Johnny in the bar on tuesday afternoon is amazing! Excellent service and very easy to talk to! Lots of delicious food and drink to chose from!

We are here for lunch and what a disappointment, .both the food and especially the service. We waited a very long time between getting sodas and being given the opportunity to order. The greek salad arrived and was horrid. The cucumber was so sour, it had gone off. The tomato was mushy. I could not swallow the bite. Main meal arrived in a timely manner and was the caliber expected at this restaurant. While she was delivering the first of our plates, I told her that the greek salad was off, and was totally ignored. I thought she may not have heard me. When she came back with the rest of the plates my husband mentioned the. Salad. The server 's response was do you want me to take off a soda or something? There was no apology, no honest feeling that she cared about our experience at all. We will think twice about coming back here for lunch. Buyer beware.

The food was absolutely delicious, It was the first in awhile that I truly enjoyed my food from a restaurant, the food was great quality. The service was good but the restaurant appears to be understaffed. The atmosphere was good, nothing to complain about that, the place seemed clean. Overall, the restaurant was great. I would recommend.
