Vito's Pizza - Lynchburg

My friend and I shared 3 discs, vegetarian, combo and spicy sausages. each disc was delicious, crust was perfectly cooked and sweet tasted fresh. the picture is after we cut the slices into the half!

Daughters and Sons Pizza, where it’s hip to be square! Feeding Central Virginia one neighbor at the time is their goal and they are squarely superior. The smell of baking pizza combined with freshly grated Parmesan is heavenly. The staff is so friendly we lingered just to feel the vibes. Stop in and take a picture next to the mermaid wall.

First family visit and they didn't disappoint. I got spicy Italian and pepperoni. I do wish the pepperonis were a tad bit bigger. But honestly overall, everything was delicious! And the owner was friendly, checked on us and asked if we were enjoying everything. It was nice!

Really unique and delicious pizza. Lynchburg needed something like this. The service I received was a little cold but fine. I thought the sauce and pepperoni on the pizza were delicious. The crust was a tiny bit overcooked on the bottom but still great. The cheese tasted average. Overall delicious pizza and cool building. I plan on being back, especially if they get more competitive on price. Also, the popcorn they give you while you wait is incredible.

My wife and I were excited to try Daughters and Sons after reading about the culinary pedigree of the chef. Unfortunately we were let down. We ordered a slice of everything on the menu in anticipation of Michelin quality brought to Lynchburg pizza. After arriving home we discovered a long hair baked into a slice of the sausage pizza. In addition to the off putting find the pizza lacked depth and character of flavor. It was one dimensional, all cheese and grease. Given the price, $35 for a pie (with samples of each topping selection), we were extremely disappointed. We don’t mind spending money on quality dining experiences but D&S missed the mark in cleanliness and quality. If you’re looking for a good pizza experience, look elsewhere.
