We thought for scallops and chips and fish and chips, absolutely amazing scallops were perfectly cooked with a wonderful dressing, battery on fish really crispy and delicious crispy chips thanks to them. and a great price

Great fish and chips. The whitebait especially were excellent. We did have to wait quite a while as they were very busy and the service seemed to be struggling to keep up with the orders coming, but we got our food eventually. And it was worth the wait. Special fish was bass which was lovely, and the chips and scampi were fantastic too. Only thing I would say that could be better would be a homemade tartare sauce instead of the stuff that comes out the packet. Would return next time we're in Lyme.

We ordered food for nine people from here—eight fish dishes and one portion of whitebait—and everything was excellent. The service was quick, efficient, and friendly, and the food was fresh and delicious. It's a shame the seagulls wanted to join in on our meal too! This place is definitely worth a visit.

We tried the fish and chips from both Herbie's and Lyme Fish Bar since we couldn't choose between them! I thought Herbie's was better, but my friend felt that the fish from Lyme was fresher. However, we both agreed that Herbie's had the best chips.
