Mohamed - Luxor

The owners are incredibly friendly at this establishment. Additionally the food we ate was probably our best meal in Egypt. I would highly recommend the tangine for anyone visiting Restaurant Mohamed. Inside the restaurant is decorated with various blues singers including Miles Davis and blues music is played in the background which is a very nice touch to this place. Make sure you are hungry when visting as food portions are plentiful. All in all ten out of ten for restaurant Mohamed.

Nice spot near Medinet Habu with friendly cats and tasty food. The family who runs it is very friendly. Try the kofta and enjoy the beautiful courtyard!

The best Egyptian cook we have eat is here ! Typically place to eat (his home) outside under trees, perfect reception, quick served ,to many food and good price Between madinat habu and ticket office, perfect to have a break before or after visit. (Sorry for my English)

Fantastic food, beautiful setting, amazing service, inexpensive! Get the kofta and aubergine best meal Ive had in Egypt (and Ive been here 3 weeks)! Great home cooked meals in a beautiful garden steps from all the sites of the West Bank (it's located 15 steps from the central ticket office for all sites). Also, knowing it can be hard sometimes in Egypt for tourists, the family that runs this restaurant also offers tours and taxi service at local prices. It was so refreshing to see locals who went out of their way to help me without expecting (or often in Egypt, demanding) money. Incredibly welcoming family running a great restaurant Egypt needs more places like this.

Hidden gem in the west bank... By far the best food I had over theree Would recommend his famous kofta boulette and pomme frites.
