El Zaeem - Luxor

What a disappointment. Food was meagre and burnt. Got overcharged as well. Does not deserve Lonely Planet recommendation.

Our family had the best experience in this restaurant for local people. The food was excellent, it was very cheap for typical local egyptian food. We had koshari and shish tawook. The people there were generous,caring and kind. We strongly recommend this place.

Real Egyptian local restaurant. The real deal ! Food was great and the sevices also. Friendly smiles Personaly it was the bes Koshuri since being over her. If you realy want to feel an Egyptian then eat there. 10 stars

We stopped by for take away koshary on the recommendation of a local hostel. It was delicious and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Lots of locals out front who seemed pleased to see us trying the local food. Highly recommend!

We tried many Koshary during our Egypt vacation and they offered a really really good one! Also the service was very kind. So highly recommend to all tourists to go there (there is a indoor setting on the upper floor) and try the traditional Egyptian dish. It is also vegetarian (even vegan) if that is important for you!
