Bidra med feedbackIt is a bit difficult to review this restaurant. That is because we feel different from the first and the second time we visit here. Atmosphere is nice, not too crowded. Service is great. The food is great the first day we come. Garlic and spicy shrimp is excellent. Fish is good. Paela is tasty. But the second time we come (2 days later), we think the chef is not the same. Food is ok but not as impressive as the first time we are here.
Since the owner commented that there is nothing to improve, since there is no real review, here goes: We were gathered there for a company event. What was offered was some drinks, some canapés and some nuts, during lunch time, near the reception of Meliá, separated by glass windows. There was nowhere to sit, which made things even more uncomfortable. Of course I do understand that this was exactly what the company ordered, but this is not a kind of service I would offer if I owned a restaurant. For me this was not even a real restaurant per se nor did it have a restaurant ambiance, what was offered was ridiculously plain and every single one of us went for lunch elsewhere after the event. Don't get me wrong, I did have a brilliant brunch on Meliá in my very first visit to the country but here I am just judging Aqua and what I have experienced inside Aqua during the aforementioned event.
If you enjoy honest, friendly yet professional service, then Aqua is the right place to be! I just loved how kind the staff is, how interested they are to make sure you are enjoying your food, and drinks. The menu is different than what you find in Luxembourg I would say Mediterranean Spanish dishes. The prices affordable and the terrace has a great view! I will definitely come here again, the ambiance, the food and good selection of wine as well as the staff are things that makes you feel welcomed!
Overpriced and very low quality. It is a Spanish style restaurant, we are from Spain and ordered patatas bravas and vegetarian paella. The bravas was simply a few potato dices with sweet paprika on top, this is not a bravas dish. The paella was the worst one I have ever tried, rice was hard as a rock and sorry to say this but it had no flavour. The staff were friendly and flexible and offered us to order something else and did not charge us for the paella. We ordered the soup of the day which was acceptable and an ibericos board which again was very poor quality. The hotel is great including the breakfast buffet but this restaurant is really bad and expensive.
