The Paleta Lutz

This place was so good! I only tried the dessert paleta bars but everything else looked good too. The Bars are made to order. There are many flavors to choose from (I got brownie fudge and Oreo), some are dairy like ice cream bars and some are fruity like popsicles, then choose what to dip it in (white, milk, or dark chocolate or powdered chile chamoy) then 2 toppings of candy or fruit (I had m ms, oreo, and fruity pebbles) The service was very fast and friendly! They will explain their menu and options if you haven't been before. I would definitely encourage giving this place a try! It was vey delicious and a quick treat.

Beyond impressed, a very neat experience I recommend fully. I'm not much of an ice cream person and so thankfully this was more than different from that. They try to use the most natural ingredients and it felt like a grown-up place to enjoy truly interesting dessert. I especially liked that it was peaceful and clean and didn't have a ton of gross kids with slimy fingers running. I can't wait to go back.

Visited once before and it was ok. My most recent visit was less than ok. The person behind the counter seemed to not be having a good day or maybe that's just his demeanor. Either way his attitude wasn't as pleasant.Do agree their food is overpriced, and the quality is just ok. There fruit cups usually have the perfect fruit. Not too ripe and fresh so I will give that a ?.Tried their mangonada with tajin and Chamoy, it was too watered down with the Agua Fresca. Not alot of mango flavor or fresh mangos.Plus they charge extra for the Chile straw.

So I’m Mexican and have been to Mexican grocery. I’m only giving two stars because This is completely overpriced. A popsicle should not cost more than $3. Plus a normal Mexican popsicle doesn’t have all those extra toppings they add here. Why do we have to cater to American palate??
