Bidra med feedbackWe recently visited this restaurant for the first time and I have to say that it did not exceed our expectations. The chips were decent, but it seemed like they were made from prepped potatoes rather than freshly cut. Overall, it was a bit disappointing, but I wouldn't classify it as bad.
We ordered chicken shawarma and fish and chips for takeout. It took an hour to arrive, which was much longer than expected. My chicken shawarma was very disappointing, with hardly any chicken and too much chili sauce, making it difficult to taste the chicken. The salad included was minimal and wilted. My partner's fish and chips were decent, but overall, we would not recommend this restaurant.
The Fish and chips were prepared fresh and cooked to perfection. The ambiance is modern and pleasant. The young man working there is very skilled and knowledgeable. He provides excellent service and treats customers like family.
Love Maci’s. We’ve been a few times and have always been very happy with our fish and chips. We will now make a special effort to go here instead of other fish and chip shops closer to home. We visited last night (a Saturday) around 7pm, and there was a bit of a wait for our 2x haddock and chips, but I definitely won’t complain it was well worth the wait. The food seemed to be cooked to order, meaning it was still hot, crisp and not sitting in grease by the time we got home and started eating. The restaurant is clean and pleasant, the staff very friendly and polite (one of the team took the time to help an elderly couple with walking sticks through the front door while we were in the shop), and the fish and chips are tasty and good value for money. Thank you Maci’s!
Called in after getting off train in Leagrave. Only 5 mins walk from the station. Pleasant staff and had a really large chip barm cake. Good price and very tasty chips.
