The Speakeasy Bar Restaurant - Luray

Very nice restaurant. My Cordon Blue was delicious. Portions are small, so I suggest to order appetizers. We waited like 20 minutes. You have added your name to a list and can wait near the door, in a couch area or at the bar. Server was very friendly. The chocolate cake with Bourbon ice was the best!

We spent our honeymoon in a nearby cabin and ate here THREE once a week. The food was extraordinary. Service was exceptional. Our waiter Hank was the best and went out his way to make sure we enjoyed our honeymoon. Best ice cream I ever had (Chef Harris? Bourbon ice cream), and every appetizer and entree was delicious. Very recommended the Duck Empanadas app.

Yes, yes, yes. We want to celebrate my parents' anniversary and that was a fantastic dinner. You start with warm bread and a delicious butter. We ordered fried green tomatoes and crabs and Pimento dip for our appetizers. Both were very good. For our entrees we ordered the black bean burger, the duck, carved and the reubs. We all loved our meals. The black bean burger was one of the best I ever had and the duck was very tender. The desserts were just as great. The peanut butter terrine was phenomenal and the chocolate cake was also delicious. Patience, our waitress, was great. I would highly recommend The Speakeasy!

Started with a fabulous server, drinks that were great and food that was best ever had on the trip! If we were local would be a good to place. I had steak with mushrooms and gravy, hubs had snapper and fried green tomatoes that were wonderful. Great experience!
