You will need to ring up and book a table here, as the restaurant is often full of guests staying at their b&b properties. The welcome was excellent, with free wine and an invitation from the chef to watch the pig roasting on the spit. The food was very nice and all locally sourced, as was the wine. The aforementioned pork was the highlight. The prices are very reasonable, with the wine included in the set price.
We drove long distance to get to one of the very few places in Sardegna that offer a vegetarian menu. In fact, the website talks about a vegetarian Thursday, so we made a reservation for Thursday night but we were told that actually they would serve the vegetarian menu on Friday. Ok, we went on a Friday, and expected to eat what was listed in the website menu. First of all, our feeling at the entrance was very strange: it seemed like we ended up in a monastery or similar. The only waitress wouldn't talk to us, neither as a welcoming sign or during the dinner when she was presenting us with the various dishes. The restaurant is poorly furnished and the environment is not pleasant. One of the antipasti (small red peppers) came out of a jar and was made with tuna and anchovies, which is really not vegetarian. Most of the food was based on eggplant combinations, which made it very monotonous. Besides, the dishes didn't have much of a taste, and some were even not edible (burnt). There was plenty of food, but it wasn't pleasurable at all. The online menu announced three first courses, and we only got one. As for dessert, a not even goodlooking pie was served, which reminded me of the most rustic breakfast food. It might be a good place to eat meat, but keep out if you are vegetarian!
All 10 of us enjoyed the 25 euro set meal on an evening when the main course was a large sea bream. We could have made a meal of the antipasto alone but this was followed by an excellent mussel dish using a Sardinian pasta. The fish was excellent as were the local wines and myrtle liqueur. A thoroughly enjoyable evening rounded off with a table football tournament. You should try it.
Tutto perfetto. Cena a base di pesce. Qualità ottima e anche quantità. Tutto molto curato. Prezzo più che onesto. Personale gentile e sorridente
