Jeff's Corner Cafe - Lumberton

Process of movement to lumberton from another country. I needed to eat at this place was not too far from where I was drawn in so I thought I would try. I have lived in three states on and off the east coast during my life and visited many others, and I can say that this is the best omelette and grotte I had. my only complaining was please not put the omelette on the grotten! warning though, even if they are willing to wait twice is always busy but waiting worth

For me I am southerly and they cook southerly. I just had her breakfast, and I really love grotten. grits are not grits, you have to put something dear in grotten. I had grotten, egg and bologna. this bologna was delicious.

We drove here instead of stopping at other places especially because of all good reviews. it says it is open online from 6 o'clock to 2 o'clock, it is currently 8:00 o'clock and there is no soul in itself and all the lights are out. *worked to say that although it was uncomfortable that it was closed when we went, the fact that the owner took the time to reach out and apologize speaks volumes. I have adjusted my assessment accordingly.

Jay's has the best breakfast. His cook Katie does a great job and his waitresses Jennifer(shorty) and Cheyenne provide awesome service.

Best sweet tea I've ever had. Taste is consistent. Been there often enough they know my order before I place it since I get the same thing every time ... 2 hot dogs ATW, no mustard plus a sweet tea. They keep the sweet tea glass filled while there plus one to go.
