Goings Bbq Steak Co - Lumberton

NEVWR AGAIN! I really sat and thought how to give this place more than one star, but there’s no reason to. The establishment itself is old with old, worn utensils and cracked, half clean plates and cups. The room we ate in smelled like an old church basement. The waitstaff barely understood us and we barely understood them. Food?! Yeah… no. The brisket looked like it’d been steamed! I’ve NEVER seen anything like it. Everything else looked like it came out of a can. My daughter liked the ribs, but she’s 7 and hasn’t met a rib she DIDN’T like… so there’s that. We spent $70 to get a good spread and give this place a chance. I really wish we hadn’t! And to think we passed up Pappadeaux’s to come here?! SMH.

The food is just ok. They gave an estimate for the food to be ready between 5:04 and 5:15. The food was ready at 4:50. Better estimates would be appreciated. The food was underseasoned. The ribs were dry and overdone. This is my second time and I will not be back.

The bbq is the best around but like everything else, their prices are too high now.

Tasty food ? but the rolls are dry as .... like a desert. Didn't like (had a small bite) crumbled it up mixed with my dogs food.

I am a weekly regular. I love the food and the people there. Everything is great there.
