Carls Travemünde - Lübeck

Very good food and good service! It was an uncomplicated, pleasant evening in a relaxing atmosphere. The menu offered many interesting options from different German regions well executed, but quite large portions! The recommended wine fits well with the food. I can only recommend the place and reserve it in advance!

Great place for dinner with a glass of wine near Travemünde Strang, especially when the weather is beautiful and you can sit outside the grapes. They serve regional menus and a la carte in various German-speaking vineyards.

Nice evening at the Carls, over the reception, until adoption. Excellent appetizers and main dishes. Super selected wine card. We like to come back, here we felt very good. Thanks again to the service staff and the cooks

Staff was top. The place is very nice, very well placed, and therefore a euro is also paid more. Very good wine list. As an appetizer there were oysters, and a salad with gratinated goat cheese. Oysters were very good. In the salad were mixed whole strands of dill and 3cm long chives pieces, I didn't understand it, therefore also sorted out. As the main course there were beef fillet (180g), with a strand broccoli, on the point cooked, but unfortunately too much salt, sauce béarnaise (we liked to have more intense taste) and pommes (not self-made). Meat was ordered Bleu, came medium Rare (for which there was an espresso for free). As dessert it has Tarte au Citron, which was also very well prepared.

Delicious food. Very friendly staff. You need to book a table!
