A number of farms can be found directly around the port of Lübbenau. I had spent all day in offices and in my car and wanted to dine outside, even if rain threatened. My view fell to the outside area of the restaurant Flaggschiff, the guest rooms are on the first floor above the offices of the Kahn companies. The outdoor area protected by large and stable parasols is located directly at the water edge. A young man received me kindly and chased my question about a table to dine outside. Zanderfilet, delicately fried, refined on original Spreewald fish sauce, parsley potatoes and fresh cucumber salad with cream-fraiche was the dish of my choice. After a reasonable waiting period and with a second non-alcoholic pils (the wine card was unsatisfied), the young man served me my main dish. The first look fell on the cucumber salad, which looked like a salad just when the waits for hours in a small bowl in the kitchen to be served. No longer really fresh with slightly dried surface. Menno, I thought about myself, why? He made no more joy. The potatoes tasted neatly with the a part served sauce (no picture), which tasted after fish fond and made joy. Well prepared also the floured zander itself. Not overgart, juicy inside, well made by the kitchen. This court left me in disgust. And this is actually just laziness and larifari, such an unsightly salad on the plate. Dear kitchen team, just lettuce fresh in the bowl and the first impression is good again! Dessert still existed. Fresh strawberries with vanilla ice cream, peppermint sauce and fresh whipped cream should complete my dinner. ****, I thought about the dessert while I was waiting. Forget to disorder the cream. And so it came as feared, an overkill of cream on the plate. The peppermint sauce had led me to order in combination with strawberries and vanilla ice cream.
