I 've been here twice and wanted to make it a regular spot. I 'm American and can speak Punjabi, but it 's definitely a 2nd language and I 'm a little slower than native speakers. Its a small cafe, and most seating is catered for groups, which makes it tougher for someone like me coming alone to find the right spot to sit. There is no host or hostess to seat you, either. You come in and sit down wherever you please, and a server comes with a menu. 2/5 stars for anyone looking to come solo, based on my last experience here: The most recent time I came here, I was working on my computer with headphones in. I 'd ordered a tea and I chose a seat that wasn 't part of a booth. After 20 minutes, a group sat behind me they had other options, they just happened to sit there. Someone from the cafe said something to me, but I didn 't hear as I was minding my business and had on headphones. I took out my headphones, they repeated themselves. I asked, Oh, do you want to me move? in English as I was surprised to be interrupted and didn 't understand what he 'd said. The man proceeded to just pick up my laptop and moved it to another table without my consent or even a response to my question. He could 've picked up my tea, gestured me to another table, or said something again. Instead, he picked up my most valuable item without permission and just moved it. I found enough of my Punjabi to tell him to never touch my things, that I 'll handle my things myself. My concentration and chill vibes were broken after that rude service though, so instead of moving, I promptly paid and left. As I was leaving, I saw that the man turned my chair around toward the booth behind me, and no on was even waiting to sit in it. It looked like it was for nothing. I am not keen on returning as I thought that was extremely rude. I 've never been to a coffee shop anywhere in the world where anyone would think it would be okay to pick up someone 's personal property (especially a laptop) and move it without consent or understanding. Posting the last pic I snapped there, at the seat that I had sat at the last two times I came to the cafe.

Such a small pretty place adjacent to Welkom Palace. The food was delicious! Worth a visit. You can also use your Zomato Gold here
