Been to this place several times and it is one of my favourites in the area. The service is excellent and the food is superb. They have a selection of menus at various prices, I have never been disappointed.
The Auberge is in a wonderful setting with lots of charm. We dined on the terrace overlooking the river and under the cover of trees. An interesting menu and attentive service. A perfect evening. There is also a dining room which looked attractive and cosy for winter-time dining. There were of us, we all chose different starters, main and desserts. No-one was disappointed! We finished with the carte for coffee and teas, the largest selection I have ever seen. A nice touch right down to the name of the type of coffee under the coffee cup!
My brother took me here with my father whilst visiting him for Father's Day - it was a quaint restaurant very clean and organised - the food was exceptional and the service second to none - would thoroughly recommend
We have dined here several times, and the experience is always first class,The Auberge is owned and run by a Chef/patron and his charming wife (who speaks perfect english) she is very attentive, as are her very professional highly trained young staff. No detail is overlooked, The pretty reception area, where we were served canapes & Kir, tells us we are in a restaurant that truly cares about their clients, The food is so good, presented in an elegant and modern way, ,yet with all the classic touches. I often choose fish, and last night for me, it was turbot, perfect, the aroma from the sauce was almost as good as the food itself. This is, in my opinion, the best restaurant in the area, and we will return again very soon, maybe if the weather is kind, to dine outside in the pretty riverside garden.
