Café J - Lubbock

The manager likes to visit tables with a colder amount of chewing tobacco in his mouth. Doesn't apologize for food that lasts an hour, is missing several times and comes cold. Never again.

Very few quiet restaurants stay in Lubbock, where you can actually conversate at the table, without television and all around you text. This is what food is should be great food, reasonable prices, ambience, well-trained staff and in a neighborhood atmosphere. Nothing else in Lubbock. Thank you.

Had a wonderful time with friends and enjoyed good drinks and good food. Look forward to coming back soon! Her beef-denderloin is formed with truffle butter, garlic potatoes and asparagus. Very recommended!

I went to Cafe J on Saturday with a friend to brunch. We both ordered the chicken steak (with cookies and my friend with waffles). The food came from ivory and well portioned! I give Cafe J great props as they cook asparagus there. The price was affordable for the part. Overall 4.5/5 stars Would recommend the restaurant

We had a lovely dinner here. A place I would strongly recommend if you?re staying close to campus. It was not busy or loud, which made it a wonderful experience. Our waitress, Lauren, was so lovely and nice and the food was wonderful!!
