Hotel guests are an imprisoned audience, and the chef can treat them as slaves. Usually we would avoid a hotel restaurant, and certainly in a tourist castle! For what reason we sang here two evenings and enjoyed every minute. The cocktail linari was too sweet for my taste, but the woman enjoyed it (4.20 euros). I also found the by-the-glass Geldermann sparkling wine on the sweet side (4.90 euros). Our waitress, completely responsible, brought half a small boiled potato with curls and a radish as an amuse canyon: a perfect start for the Spreewald. The Zeasarsalat with Sampis was good (12 euros) like the white asparagus soup (6 euros). White asparagus was the theme of the day, with sauce hollandaise and cooked potatoes with brown butter. The fillets of Hecht and Wels were good (22 euros), and the generous pork from a local, domestic pig was fabulous! (22 euros). On the second evening we had salmon fillet (14 euros) and roasted wild boar with green asparagus and homemade Gnocchi (17 euros), both excellent choices. As far as wine is concerned, the blanc de noir was very good as the German St. Laurent (1/4 liter for 11.30 euros). The Rioja Reserva was ripe and smooth and fits the frying pig very well (0.75 litres for 48 euros). Sink water (Liebenwerda) cost 5.50 euros for a 0.75 liter bottle. Not to forget the Tonka bean cream brulee, a small but very satisfying sin after all the food! (7 Euro). The interior is spacious, the waiting staff competent. After the meal, Rocco's Bar offers a relaxed landscape of sofas and armchairs to enjoy a glass of Tempranillo (8 euros) or a 16-year-old Lagavulin (6.30 euros). It won't be much better than that, and we haven't been here for the last time, that's safe.
We can regain the Linari Restaurant Schloss Lübbenau as an exelent. we are a couple at 30. As the head we had warm, baked goat cheese on self-made ravioli. second main: fried in butter north see turbot a starter: see collection, scallob, yarn, matie tart. ... The service was very good, friendly, good eye for special needs. we had our table outside with a great view over the park. the rooms inside also looked great.
We had a lovely Spreewald lunch in the hotel restaurant. The fish was perfectly cooked and accompanied by chanterelles and snap peas. The service was excellent.
Today we ate lunch at the outdoor terrace at the Schlossrestaurant. I'm a vegetarian and was thrilled to discover a vegetarian set menu (lunch menu only); price 22 Euros. The appetizer included a simple green salad with a wonderful light dressing and a delicious vegetable filled...pastry. The entree consisted of 2 fresh mushroom crepes with tomato ragout simply perfect. Dessert was creme brulee with fresh blueberries one of the most delicious treats I've ever had. My entire meal was sublime, and in a gorgeous setting, overlooking a large lawn. The only small complaint I have was that the service was not as good as the food. We waited much too long for desserts and then the bill.
