Pomodoro Pizzeria Trattoria

What a find--right off I-95 is this quaint little neighborhood gem. Super clean, pleasant efficient service but what 's really 5 stars is the food. omigosh. I got a Greenwich salad and wasn 't expecting greatness but it was THE BEST SALAD I HAVE EVER EATEN. Not a word of a lie. The flavor combo was so delightful it barely needed the flavor-packed fresh dressing. The ratio of warm chicken and bacon perfectly contrasted the cool greens. It was a really big salad (perfect for Elaine Benes but I loved every bite. I guess the rest of the menu is pretty great as well, judging by all the take outs families were picking up. Would definitely recommend, obviously!

Got their pasta alla vodka with shrimp... it was good though I added shrimp to it. I was charged $8 which I normally wouldn't mind but when I my received my order, there was only THREE shrimp! They were overcooked dry. I also ordered the garlic bread with bruschetta and the bread was soggy and the bruschetta was tasteless. 4 stars bc I do like their food and have had good experiences in the past! This time was just unfortunate.

Still The best pizza ever!!! Restaurant comes and goes But they still strong. Thx pomodoro!

Idk it feels like this place is two different restaurants when it comes to their takeout food soggy through and through I love Pomodoro's but this was not what i was looking forward to have for dinner.

Excellent food and service. We had the mussels for an appetizer, salad and lasagna to share with a few glasses of wine
