Le Cardinal bar brasserie - Lourdes

This is ideally located if you wish to be away from the crowds yet only a few metres from the main thorough fare. We were given a generous welcome; they have some salads which are reasonably priced with their main plate coming in at 9 Euro which is excellent value. The service was friendly and this has all the signs of being family run with the extra kindness and attention to detail. I have never been in a brasserie so clean. The toilets are downstairs and again spotlessly clean. A chapeau to the team on your cleanliness. We had a pleasant relaxed visit with no pressure. Thank you.

Pub/restaurant recommended by our hotel. Owner Bruno , an ex-rugbyman and his staff were extremely good to us. Moving people out to make room for our group of 8 on the terrasse! Great sense of humour, Bruno also speaks good english. Very popular place with the locals and tourists alike. Free rock concert on the night we got there. Loved it !! We returned for a lunchtime meal, cheap 3-course menu €12). Great local food. Would definitely recommend a visit.
