The sharing meat platter was very good , but it’s a sharing dish why 3?lamb chops ? The sea bass was over cooked , dry and contained bones . This is a high end restaurant so correctly filleted fish should be a must . When we explained about the fish we were told , by the restaurant manager that as it’s cooked on the char grill this happens !! No check back and generally not attentive enough. Should be better.
We were sat at a good table with a Marina view although it was dark, service was polite, attentive and excellent throughout. Our food was excellent in taste and quality and we would recommend this restaurant to all even though we weren't staying at the Tivoli and booked through Fork.
Unbelievable setting we had a really nice meal with friends. The steaks were top quality the wine which was the house was really acceptable. The service was professional and a special mention to Ismail who was with us all night we were the first in and last out. Will definitely go again.
Fantastic steak. The chef came out and showed us the cut, and spoke with us about for awhile which was a great touch. Lovely ambience, and steak was delightful. Highly recommend
We were three people having dinner. The positives for us were that the food was excellent steaks and sea bass and the wine was good too. The sommelier was also really knowledgeable and pleasant, and the atmosphere in part of the restaurant was very good with live music from the hotel’s bar and a fantastic view over the marina for some tables. There were some serious negatives for us too. There was nobody at the entrance of the restaurant to meet us, which was not a big deal, but when the hostess came over to us I asked if we could have a table overlooking the marina and that we would be prepared to wait if that helped, but I was told ‘no’ in a very curt manner. We had booked a table on the terrace and were the taken to one of the worst tables in the restaurant, next to a frosted glass screen under a bright spotlight. The difference between this end of the restaurant and the other end, by the bar, is stark. The restaurant wasn’t very busy and there were several other unused tables so I asked if we could be moved. We were moved grudgingly. I have never seen staff openly arguing with each other in front of customers like this before. All of the staff were arguing and it went on throughout our dinner. It didn’t seem as though there was any leadership and it really spoiled our evening. I think we may also have caused an issue by asking to move tables because two staff were seen arguing on several occasions and pointing directly at us. This made us feel very uncomfortable to the point where I quietly asked a hostess if we had caused any problems she smiled, said yes, and walked off. This is an expensive restaurant and would be worth every € but only if the service was improved massively.
