Bidra med feedbackGreat food and pizza... definitely a dive bar, but everyone is very friendly. Good place to go if you just need to get away for awhile.
Third time here over last 6 months, had pizza each time. We are pizza lovers and try all over the country and our own city as much as possible. I consider this pizza a hidden gem. It has become one of our local rounds. And speaking of rounds, drinks are generous and inexpensive. So the good times can roll without much dough, unless of course you try the cheesy breadsticks too which just may be Louisville 's best or as my wife puts it the best she 's ever had . The takeaway: odd location, zero curb appeal, but clean inside, great attentive service, kid friendly, juke box, darts, cheap drinks, great pizza (do not order xtra cheese, not necessary and is just TOO much if you do and possibly the world 's most amazing cheese bread(?
I ordered a pizza here that was decent in all respects except for the sauce. The sauce was way too sweet, didn't have any herbs in it at all, and there was way too much of it. The quantity of cheese and other toppings was also quite generous. The pepperoni slices were pretty large in diameter, and I like that. The crust was pretty thin. The edges were crispy, while the bottom was flimsy and soggy, probably from all that sauce. If they fixed the sauce situation, this would be a 4 star rating.
