Bidra med feedbackWhen I'm from new england, I know great fish and tweetle rings. I also know a little about beignets that I have eaten them in new orleans and made them myself. david and his crew have come to the point with everything I mentioned, and I look forward to trying more of the farewell in the fish house and cafe beignet. the food is served torten hot, fresh and just as prepared as it should be. fish is flocky and has the right taste. twill rings are super and beignets could compete with those in the French quarter, so I compare my own. I'm just sorry I waited so long to try this great place for seafood and beignets.
Great atmosphere for an order at the counter-fishing place. good prices for large portions and really great tasting fish. I wish the beignets were better, they were very chewing, but maybe that's just their style of lignet.
We had a great dinner in this hidden shade. we have a good night dinner.
If they are gluten-free and are missing fried fish, this is the place to visit! most of their menus can be prepared gluten-free, including hush puppy and fried mushrooms. I had the Schell dinner and it was fantastic! the fish was fresh and tender. the portions are large, with much leftover to take home if preferred. the diner is small and the parking space can be tricky when visiting it at a busy time of the day. they offer a gastronomic option in free. all staff were friendly and personal. I will come back to visit when the fish is hurting!
The food was excellent. Hot and crispy. They have a sumptuous Cole slaw and the tarter sauce was very good. The best beignets I ever tasted. The only downside was the eating area was not clean. The tables were sticky and there was food and crumbs on the seats. The patio seats could definitely use a reupholstering or replacement. The staff was friendly and the owner was very sweet. This place has excellent fried fish and seafood.
